The discovery of two elements of fistula aquaria with the names of the plumbarius Martialis and his domina, Arria Fadilla, mother of the emperor Antoninus Pius, confirms that the remains of some prestigious buildings found in the area of Montegrotto Terme (Padua) belong to an important villa owned by some members of the imperial family.

Abstract

The discovery of two elements of fistula aquaria with the names of the plumbarius Martialis and his domina, Arria Fadilla, mother of the emperor Antoninus Pius, confirms that the remains of some prestigious buildings found in the area of Montegrotto Terme (Padua) belong to an important villa owned by some members of the imperial family.
