In the last ten years the digital technologies have conditioned our lives in many different ways. A fully digital workflow seems to be very promising in terms of less discomfort for the patients and less times needed to take an impression compared to the traditional method. How ever there are still many aspects needed to be investigate, such as the complexity of the procedure, the reliability of the optical impression, the precision of the CAD-CAM made crown, the costs, the time needed to deliver a final crown and more. The aim of this review is to understand, analyzing some RCT studies, if the digital workflow is a reliable procedure compared to the analogic.

Abstract
In the last ten years the digital technologies have conditioned our lives in many different ways. Also in dentistry new inventions started to change our working routine accompanying the clinician from the analogic epoch to the digital. The aim of this review is to understand, analyzing some RCT studies, if the digital workflow is a reliable procedure compared to the analogic.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
