In this essay, the author demonstrates the extraneousness of Antonio Labriola’s doctrine of historical materialism from some tendencies of the later Italian Marxism. Fathoming documents recently published, he highlights the marginality of Marxian Theses on Feuerbach (1845) for Labriola’s dialectical conception. That’s why his version of philosophy of praxis differs from those activist conception of Twentieth Century that were founded on the Marxian’ Thesis
