Chronic diseases are important determinant of quality of life and the first global cause of death. Studies show that regular physical activity reduces the risk of morbidity and mortality due to several chronic diseases. Regular physical activity can reduce the decrease in balance, flexibility, strength, and increase resilience. An innovative integrated Adapted Physical Activity (APA) home-care service program has been carried out in 10th Genoa’s Socio Sanitary District from 2012 to foster rehabilitation and health for a person with post-traumatic sub-complete spinal cord injury (C5-C6).

Abstract
