Describing the evolution of the individual from the physical to the vital individuation, from the psychic to the collective individuation, the article aims at reconstructing Simondon’s theory of the individual with which the philosopher shows how the subject is a never-ending process of individuation that emerges from a preindividual field that makes individuation itself possible.
