The article deals with the problem of human body reality, which in the past was definitely different from ours. In antiquity and Middle Ages human body was the result of cosmic and divine forces, capable to influence human destiny and life also in the afterlife. Today human body is seen as a material and biological ensemble, a dangerous tendency as it justifies a de-humanization of body.
