Une excursion terminolinguistique dans la géomorphologie côtière

The article presents a descriptive, terminological, and linguistic classification of the geomorphological nomenclature of the coastal zone according to the forms of the transverse riverine profile, both of the terrestrial part and of the marine part, in relation to the levels of water and the processes that affect it. Through and interdisciplinary methodological approach, it examines the current status of the vocabulary of this domain, analysing some terms collected in a corpus of technical documents as well as glossaries and terminographic resources available online. Two objectives are linked to this research: on the one hand, the paper analyses the nomenclature and takes into account any possible case of ambiguity; on the other hand, it offers a reference resource fors specialists and scholars in the field
