Le travail de l’argent métal au XIXe siècle : entre termes et marqueurs en contexte définitoire

Terminology concerning the artisanal activity, the products and the technical tools associated with the world of silverware occurs within several textual typologies, in particular in the handbook, which was in vogue in the 19th century. Starting from a corpus made up of two technical handbooks from 1870 and 1873, we analyze the terminology of this field and identify the marking of its termino-conceptual relations. Using examples, based on the contexts and co-texts of the terms in the corpus, we investigate specialized texts starting from the identification of technical terms and proceeding with the markers of termino-conceptual relations.
