Clothing terms and outwear in particular can be found in various kinds of sources, ranging from fashion magazines to catalogues, from literary works to specialized dictionaries. In the chapter, we suggest a possible approach to the selection and classification of sources on the basis of the historical period and the terminological phenomena involved in the analysis.
