The introduction to the volume of Giuseppe Zamboni on the "Critique of pure reason" recounts the comparison with Kant within the Catholic University of Milan in the years 1920-1930. Thus the relationship between the pure gnoseology of Zamboni and the Kantian criticism is brought to light, whose contributions on the level of phenomenal knowledge are appreciated, while it is criticized as regards the metaphysical approach of transcendental Dialectic.
