Abstract

In this paper we present an update of the ongoing research on the topography of Grumentum. We have recently published in Fastionline the results of a series of prospections with a gradiometer on the central area of this ancient Roman city, which are combined with the interpretation of aerial photographs. This is a work in progress, where we are going to use different metodologies in order to progress as far as possible with precision and detail in our interpretations . The informatic analysis carried out and presented here has been produced in the Archaeology Laboratory of the University of Verona.
