This essay examines typical Russian linguistic forms, the so-called “predicatives”, in cross-cultural and translational perspective, since there is neither a morpho-syntactic nor a lexical-semantic equivalent in Italian. After a brief hystorical and lexical analysis of these forms, compared with “homonymous” ones, the study will focuse on the question of anisomorphism between different languages from a bilingual lexicographical point of view. It will be then evidenced the importance of identifying the context of use for the accurate identification and translation of these “predicatives”, attempting to avoid a possible "collapse of the context” caused by mismatching

Abstract
This essay examines typical Russian linguistic forms, the so-called “predicatives”, in cross-cultural and translational perspective, since there is neither a morpho-syntactic nor a lexical-semantic equivalent in Italian. After a brief hystorical and lexical analysis of these forms, compared with “homonymous” ones, the study will focuse on the question of anisomorphism between different languages from a bilingual lexicographical point of view. It will be then evidenced the importance of identifying the context of use for the accurate identification and translation of these “predicatives”, attempting to avoid a possible "collapse of the context” caused by mismatchingI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
