The book looks at the study of discourse(s) in English and recontextualizations, that is, resemiotizations, remediation, dialogism, interdiscursivity and intertextuality. The theme is the link between discourse, ideology and the dichotomy of the 'Self' and the 'Other'. In the appendix some guided exercises are available for students who wants to practice multimodal analysis.
