This capter reports results of a contingent valuation study carried out to estimates benefits of reswtoring Capo Feto (Sicily), a degraded costal wetland ecosystem, recently included in the Natura 2000 EU framework and in the Ramsar weatlands' list. The4 study was undertaken to provide policy-makers with information on the public benefits that the restoration of the wetland might generate. Individual's willingness to pay (WTP) was gathered by using the one-and-one-half bound (OOHB) elicitation format p5roposed by Cooper et al., (2002).
