The kidney is the organ most frequently involved in drug-induced damage and the main reasons include the high renal blood flow, the high degree of specialization of tubular cells, the extensive endothelial surface and the predominantly renal excretion of most drugs. In this article it will be examined the renal safety of two groups of drugs, antifungals (amphotericin B, azoles and echinocandins) and NSAIDs (mostly indomethacin and ibuprofen), frequently used in the neonatal period.

Abstract
The kidney is the organ most frequently involved in drug-induced damage and the main reasons include the high renal blood flow, the high degree of specialization of tubular cells, the extensive endothelial surface and the predominantly renal excretion of most drugs. In this article it will be examined the renal safety of two groups of drugs, antifungals (amphotericin B, azoles and echinocandins) and NSAIDs (mostly indomethacin and ibuprofen), frequently used in the neonatal period.File in questo prodotto:
