The contribution considers audio walks essentials and analyses some relevant projects developed within human geography during the last decade to identify their conceptual and technical features. Thereafter it focuses on the “South Bank Muses” audio-walk as an exsample of the embodied, affective, performative as well as speculative experience audio walks may imply and foster, opening up new possibilities for participation in the creative processes of space production.
