One of the most interesting features of hagiographical and cult of the saints sources is their link to the popular cultures of the past of which they are reflection and witness. The international conference, held in Verona and inspired by Pietro Boglioni, expressed the state of the art in this field, with the contribution of 22 scholars from all over the world, in Italian, English and French.
