ndex gathers short introductions to the works of more than 180 partecipants in Manifesta 7. The 7th edition of Manifesta, the European Biennal of Contemporary Art embraces fours exhibitions – Scenarios, The Rest of Now, The Soul and Principle Hope mounted in former industrial sites and historic buildings. Manifesta 7 is hosted by the Autonomous Region of Trentino-South Tyrol in Italy in the towns of Fortezza, Bolzano, Trento and Rovereto. This book is divided into four sections, with each section representing one of the four exhibitions. Manifesta 7 is curated by Adam Budak (Graz/Krakow), anselm Franke (Berlin/Antwerp), Hila Peleg (Tel Aviv/Berlin) and the Raqs Media Collective (New Delhi).
