In this ongoing trial 3-month therapy with human lymphoblastoid interferon in patients with anti-HBe and HBV-DNA positive chronic hepatiits resulted in complete disappearance of HBV-DNA from serum in 3 of 7 (43%) treated patients compared to 1 of 6 (16%) contro subjects.

Abstract
