The articles deals with the advantages of using music in the language classroom to enhance learning. It then describes the module realized at the CLA of the University of Verona with Erasmus students attending Italian L2 classes. The module focused on the use of songs to introduce socio-cultural aspects of Italian society from the 60s onwards, with the use of different authentic materials, from songs to literary texts.
