In this essay, a comparison will be proposed between the structure of the "Encyclopaedia septem tomis distincta" and the foundational projects and reflections on the encyclopedia proposed by Leibniz. In a predominantly theoretical approach, a formal kind of analysis has been favored that considers the structure and general schemes underlying the thread of knowledge considered individually and organized into disciplines. The analysis does not presume to exhaust all the considerations on the subject, but only to point out some general theoretical problems and interpretative ways, convinced that the encyclopedic question, together with the difficulties it has involved and still involves, is more up-to-date than ever

Abstract
In this essay, a comparison will be proposed between the structure of the "Encyclopaedia septem tomis distincta" and the foundational projects and reflections on the encyclopedia proposed by Leibniz. In a predominantly theoretical approach, a formal kind of analysis has been favored that considers the structure and general schemes underlying the thread of knowledge considered individually and organized into disciplines. The analysis does not presume to exhaust all the considerations on the subject, but only to point out some general theoretical problems and interpretative ways, convinced that the encyclopedic question, together with the difficulties it has involved and still involves, is more up-to-date than everI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
