This thesis deals with an empirical investigation on the rise of human learning, and the Wealth of Nations. The aim is ‘empirical’ in the sense that I discuss figures spanning almost two centuries for a select group of countries and thirty years for almost all nations. The matter under investigation is the increase over time of economic production and human knowledge and hence the title includes also the word ‘dynamics’ before the two main topics.
