Cervical cancer remains a leading cause of cancer-related mortality among women worldwide. The calcium-sensing receptor (CaSR), a key regulator of cellular calcium homeostasis, is implicated in various physiological processes, including cell proliferation and apoptosis. However, the role of CaSR in cervical cancer and its associated signalling pathways remains insufficiently explored. This study aims to investigate the effects of CaSR and its antagonists on the proliferation and apoptosis of cervical cancer cell lines and to elucidate the underlying molecular mechanisms.

Abstract
