Introduction

In this introduction, the two editors review previous methodological works in the field of Interpreting Studies and illustrates the rationale behind the collection of chapters in the volume. The fundamental notion of interaction is applied to the whole research process with respect to the relationship between the data and the analyst, i.e. in data collection, data analysis and beyond. A brief overview of each chapter is also provided.
