This chapter aims to shed light on the technological space of B Corps that have developed green patents. Our analysis of the 17933 patent applications filed by B Corps worldwide revealed that European countries lead the way in terms of patent quantity, with over 50 percent of the total. Despite this, we found that patents related to environmental concerns are still a relatively small portion, numbering only 696 in total. For managers seeking to work in a supportive environment for the development of green technologies, it is important to note that one in four innovative B Corps are also focused on green innovation. This suggests that the B Corp community can be seen as a rich source of opportunity for those looking to advance green technology

Abstract
This chapter aims to shed light on the technological space of B Corps that have developed green patents. Our analysis of the 17933 patent applications filed by B Corps worldwide revealed that European countries lead the way in terms of patent quantity, with over 50 percent of the total. Despite this, we found that patents related to environmental concerns are still a relatively small portion, numbering only 696 in total. For managers seeking to work in a supportive environment for the development of green technologies, it is important to note that one in four innovative B Corps are also focused on green innovation. This suggests that the B Corp community can be seen as a rich source of opportunity for those looking to advance green technologyI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
