In this note we present some recent results on the Mathematical Analysis of Nematic Shells. The type of results we present deal with the analysis of defectless configurations as well as the analysis of defected configurations. The mathematical tools include Topology, Analysis of Partial Differential Equations as well as Variational Techniques like G convergence.
