In the present study a stylometric computational analysis on a corpus of italian chivalric novels is proposed, in order to check the authorship of Il terzo libro di Palmerino d’Inghilterra (Portonari, Venice, 1559), a original sequel of the cycle of Palmerim of England. The results allow to add some more informations upon an authorship attribution case only sketched out by critics, sheding new light on the context of production of the book examined
