After an introduction focused on the relationship between new forms of slavery and labor law, the author looks at the prohibition of labor forced labor in Europe (starting with the case of Chowdury and others v. Greece dealt with by the Strasbourg Court) dwelling, in particular, on the positive obligations of states . The legal approach to the issue is particularly clear in the analysis of the graphic representation FRA makes of labor exploitation. The contribution continues with the issue of the protection of the fundamental human rights of workers fundamental human rights of workers under international law, EU law and national law. The conclusion traces the boundaries of exploitation in the prism of theoretical pluralism, also dwelling on the latest techniques for repairing and recalibrating contemporary slavery.
