This article aims to outline the relevance and impact of Remo Bodei's Italian translation of Hölderlin's philosophical writings. This edition was first published in 1980, being revised and augmented in 1989, and radically changed Hölderlin's image in Italy. Both the introductory essay and the translation itself are discussed extensively with a view to doing justice to the complex nature of this piece of scholarship, which not only promoted a wider knowledge of Hölderlin’s theoretical reflections, but also suggested an original interpretation, focusing particulary on tragedy.

Abstract
This article aims to outline the relevance and impact of Remo Bodei's Italian translation of Hölderlin's philosophical writings. This edition was first published in 1980, being revised and augmented in 1989, and radically changed Hölderlin's image in Italy. Both the introductory essay and the translation itself are discussed extensively with a view to doing justice to the complex nature of this piece of scholarship, which not only promoted a wider knowledge of Hölderlin’s theoretical reflections, but also suggested an original interpretation, focusing particulary on tragedy.File in questo prodotto:
