[12], further reinforce the rationale of screen-ing patients with NAFLD for T2D [3,6,22,23] and repeating such anevaluation over time. Finally, every effort should be made to obtainthe reversal of NAFLD with the specific aim of preventing, amongthe other complications, the development of T2D.
