We read with interest the recent article by Reinhardt et al. (1) reporting that activated γ\δ T-cells are abundant in enthesis, ciliar body and aortic valve in Tcrd-H2BeGFP mice. The clinical mean of these findings might be relevant. We suggest, for example, that this particular localization of γ\δ Tcells may explain some drugs’ adverse events.

Could γ\δ T-cells explain zoledronic acid adverse events?

Abstract

We read with interest the recent article by Reinhardt et al. (1) reporting that activated γ\δ T-cells are abundant in enthesis, ciliar body and aortic valve in Tcrd-H2BeGFP mice. The clinical mean of these findings might be relevant. We suggest, for example, that this particular localization of γ\δ Tcells may explain some drugs’ adverse events.
