Abstract

A radioautographic study shows for the first time that exogenously administered cyclic AMP increases the nucleolar uptake of radioactive cortisol in hepatocytes but not in fibroblast-like cells. Conversely, exogenously administered cortisol decreases the nuclear uptake of radioactive cyclic AMP while increases its uptake in the cytoplasm.
