La cotidiana construcción de la imagen del escritor en "La tentación del fracaso" de J.R Ribeyro

In questo lavoro si analizza il diario dello scrittore peruviano José Ramón Ribeyro intitolato "La tentación del fracaso" ed il suo rapporto con altre opere dell’autore come un insieme che ha lo scopo di creare un’immagine dello scrittore. Nel diario confluiscono due movimenti: da un lato la volontà dell’autore di rappresentare se stesso mediante il quotidiano processo della scrittura diaristica nel suo sviluppo temporale e, dall’altro, la riuscita o il fallimento di tale desiderio quando il diario è pubblicato e letto dai lettori. Da questo confronto tra le due istanze della comunicazione letteraria emergono diverse figure speculari dello scrittore costruite attraverso una sorta di autobiografia inizialmente non pianificata. In "La tentación del fracaso" assistiamo, quindi, ad una evoluzione che ci porterà dall’immagine giovanile dello scrittore bohemien a Lima e Parigi allo scrittore maturo e deluso dei suoi esiti letterari che si rifugia nei generi auto-riflessivi. Inoltre, in campo teorico, si è cercato anche di stabilire una definizione e un ambito di azione del genere discorsivo diaristico all’interno delle diverse scritture autobiografiche.

In this work we analyze "La tentación of fracaso", the Peruvian writer José Ramón Ribeyro’s diary, and its relationship with the rest of his works, conceived (all these) as a whole in order to create an image of the writer. There are two movements in confluence in the diary: on one side the author's will to represent himself through the process of daily writing in the diary in its development in the time and, on the other side, the success or failure of that desire when the diary is published and is read by the potential readers. From this contrast between the two agents of literary communication, different mirror figures of the writer emerge. In this case, we see an evolution that will lead us from the vision of the young writer as a bohemian in Lima and in Paris and the mature and disappointed writer who dedicates his last years to concentrate his efforts in thoughtful genres. Moreover we have also tried to establish theoretically a definition and a scope of action of the diary genre within the various autobiographical writings.
