In the paper "Stability of kernel-based interpolation" (to appear on Adv. Comput. In this note we give a different proof based on a sampling inequality. A few numerical examples, supporting the results, will be presented too.

Abstract

In the paper "Stability of kernel-based interpolation" (to appear on Adv. Comput. Math.) we proved the stability, in L2 and L1 norms, of kernel–based interpolation, essentially based on standard error estimates for radial basis functions. In this note we give a different proof based on a sampling inequality. A few numerical examples, supporting the results, will be presented too.
