The present chapter deals with the main international law issues arising in the aftermath of WWII and with the way in which international lawyers in Italy approached them and contributed to their legal understanding. Specific focus is dedicated to the questions of South Tyrol and Trieste, of Italy's Trusteeship over Somalia and to Italy's accession to international organizations.
