The article discusses a pilot study on ethical education in two preschools. The project involved teachers, chil- dren and parents to deepen the ethical understanding of subjects aged four and five, to explore the effective- ness of guided dialogue in the classroom and extension activities aimed at promoting reflections, ethical dis- cussions and moral development in children in pre-school age. The data was collected through observations, interviews, activities, questionnaires; the analysis of the data is in particular qualitative, without neglecting a quantitative contribution. The project involved two early childhood schools: a specific ethical education in- tervention was carried out in the first, a standard control program was followed in the second.
