At the end of the 90’s, italian regionalism has been affected by vast and to a certain extent radical reforms. The constitutional law 1/1999 was the first constitutional reform that opened a new phase for Regions with ordinary statute. The present study focuses on how the statutes autonomy has also affected the balance between the regional Council and the President of the Region.

Abstract
